<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-cooled engine that can reduce trouble that dust such as long mowed grass enters a fan case and also can reduce trouble that dust chips of the mowed grass or the like being stuck between an external gear and a dustproof wall. <P>SOLUTION: The dustproof wall 5 is formed of a plurality of dustproof gears 7 arranged in a circumferential direction. An inter-dustproof-gear slit 8 is provided between the adjacent dustproof gears 7 and 7. A plurality of internal gears 9 which rotate along an inner peripheral surface of the dustproof gear 7 are provided along a periphery 4a of a filter plate. A plurality of external gears 6 and the plurality of internal gears 9 are both arranged in a circumferential direction of the periphery 4a of the filter plate. An inter-external-gear slit 10 is provided between the adjacent external gears 6 and 6, and in addition an inter-internal-gear slit 11 is provided between the adjacent internal gears 9 and 9. Thus, the dust 12 which has passed through the inter-external-gear slit 10, the inter-dustproof-gear slit 8 and the inter-internal-gear slit 11 is cut by the dustproof gears 7 together with the rotating external gears 6 and internal gears 9. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
