<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an infrared light reflective film capable of obtaining an infrared light reflective film having excellent brittleness and good haze using a chiral agent with a low HTP. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an infrared light reflective film comprises: an application step for applying a polymerizable liquid crystal compound including (A) a polymerizable cholesteric liquid crystal compound, (B) a chiral agent with a HTP of 50 μm<SP POS="POST">-1</SP>, (C) a monofunctional monomer, and (D) an organic solvent, to a substrate; an alignment step for applying heat and aligning the polymerizable cholesteric liquid crystal compound into a cholesteric liquid crystal phase; and an irradiation step for fixing the cholesteric liquid crystal phase and forming an infrared light reflective layer by irradiating the polymerizable liquid crystal composition with active radiation. The amount of a residual solvent after the alignment step is controlled to be 0.20 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
