<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image displaying device that implements a user interface function which enables a user to easily select any function by means of a simple operation, and which enables even a user who is used to operating by means of a direct key as in prior art to easily select a function. <P>SOLUTION: An image displaying device is constituted by at least 2 or more hierarchies comprising a category selecting element group IA which is an upper hierarchy formed by arranging selecting elements showing a category of various functions related to an image display, and a function selecting element group IB which is a lower hierarchy formed by arranging selecting elements showing the functions corresponding to the category. The image displaying device displays a menu screen M1 that allows a selecting element to be selected showing any function by means of a key operation on an operation device, and when a signal is received from a direct key 25k, on the operation device, allocated to any of the function categories shown by the selecting elements of the upper hierarchy, the menu screen M1 is displayed in a state that the selecting element is selected showing the function category allocated to the direct key 25k. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
