<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate noise of a circuit block mounted in LSI. <P>SOLUTION: A noise estimating method to achieve the purpose is executed by a computer, and the computer conducts: a calculation step for using a process parameter, which is stored in a storage area and relates to an electrical characteristic of a substrate of LSI, to calculate substrate resistance between multiple circuit blocks arranged in the LSI; a generation step for generating an equivalent circuit having the calculated substrate resistance and generating an in-chip netlist within the storage area; a circuit simulation step for estimating noise of each circuit block by executing a circuit simulation through use of the whole netlist after adding information about connection between an electrical element relating to performance of the LSI and each circuit block to the in-chip netlist stored in the storage area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
