A roll coupling system for roll-coupling the drawbar of a trailer to the rear of a tow vehicle includes a roll torque transfer structure wherein a cumulative combined roll resistance of the tow vehicle and the trailer resist rolling of the trailer about the drawbar. The roll torque transfer structure includes a selectively rotatable coupler, selectively rotatable about a roll axis of the drawbar, and having a remotely-controlled selectively releasable lock. The rotatable coupler thus provides remotely-controlled selectively lockable roll coupling between the tow vehicle and the trailer.
