摘要 <p>This medical treatment tool (1) is characterized by being provided with: a treatment section (10) having a first forceps piece (11) and a second forceps piece (12), at least one of which is rotatably supported with respect to a cover member; an operating member (20) that moves backwards and forwards with respect to the cover member in the axial direction of the operating member so as to cause the pair of forceps pieces to rotate and open and close; and link members (15, 17), the leading ends (15A, 17A) of which are linked to the rotatable forceps pieces, and the base ends (15B, 17B) of which are linked to the operating member. The medical treatment tool (1) is further characterized in that: the forward/backward axis of the base ends (15B, 17B) is parallel to the axis of the operating member (20); the distance between the forward/backward axis of the base ends (15B, 17B) and the leading ends (15A, 17A) is shorter than the length of the link members; and the length (L1) of the line segment joining the base ends (15B, 17B) and the center of rotation of the first forceps piece (11) and the second forceps piece (12) projected on the forward/backward axis is shorter than the length (L2) of the line segment joining the leading ends (15A, 17A) and the center of rotation projected on the forward/backward axis.</p>
