The lintel has an insulating core (2) surrounded by reinforced cement mortar or concrete (3) e.g. steel fibers, glass fibers, plastic fibers, textile reinforcement mats or reinforcing steel, where the lintel is made of flexible material and fibers as reinforcement. The insulating core comprises an insulating material body. The concrete is covered with a facing shell that is disguised with brick-straps (4). Width of the insulating core is about 35-60 mm, and depth of the insulating core is about 35-60 mm and length of the insulating core is about 150-400 mm.
