NOVEL STRAIN SCENEDESMUS OBLIQUUS YSR008

PURPOSE: A novel Scenedesmus obliquus YSR008 is provided to ensure resistance to wastewater and carbon dioxide and to enhance strain growth rate. CONSTITUTION: A microorganism formulation for treating wastewater contains Scenedesmus obliquus YSR008(KCTC 11871BP) or culture thereof. The strain has resistance to wastewater and carbon dioxide. The strain is cultured in wastewater in 10-20% carbon dioxide at 20-30 Deg. C. and pH 7-8. A method for purifying the wastewater comprises a step of reacting the microorganism formulation and wastewater. A method for carbon dioxide fixation comprises a step of fixing carbon dioxide in the strain.
