PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to directly drive a cold air circulating pan with a solar cell, thereby reducing stand-by power and reducing the generation of the carbon dioxide. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a body(1), a solar cell(4), and a cold air circulating fan(5). The solar cell is attached on the body. The cold air circulating fan is driven by the solar cell and circulates cold air. A charger is connected to the solar cell and the cold air circulating fan.
