FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disinfectants for disinfecting different types of water, containing a disinfecting agent and a solvent, wherein the disinfecting agent consists of a first component - branched oligomers of hexamethylene diamine and guanidine of formula (I) in form of hydrochlorides, phosphates or succinates thereof, and a second component - alkyldimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride or alkyldiemethyl (ethyl) benzyl ammonium chloride, wherein the disinfectant contains 1.5 wt %-50 wt % first component, and the weight ratio of the first component to the second component ranges from 3.5:1 to 10:1. The solvent is water.
