<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable desulfurization device in which gas leaking from the connection part of piping hardly occurs. <P>SOLUTION: In the desulfurization device, two hollow cylindrical desulfurization tubes 5a, 5b having piping-connecting openings with different shapes at both ends thereof and having sulfur-removing catalyst inside thereof are arranged in parallel such that one of the desulfurization tubes is directed to a reverse direction, wherein the desulfurization tubes are connected in series by a metal piping 23 with a U-shape, bands 22a, 22b are wound around the outer peripheries of the two desulfurization tubes 5a, 5b respectively, the bands 22a, 22b are coupled with an annular coupling member 21, thereby the desulfurization tubes 5a, 5b are integrated. Consequently, the arrangement of the piping-connecting openings 7a, 7b of the desulfurization tubes 5a, 5b connected with the metal piping 23 can be finely adjusted according to the size of the metal piping 23, and the center position of the piping-connecting openings of the desulfurization tubes can be met with the center position of the metal piping.
