<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television receiver 1 which gives no discomfort to a user when displaying a game content and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A television receiver 1 comprises a video processing module 30 and a controller 20. The video processing module 30 generates a display video signal by at least improving an image quality and doubling the speed of an input video signal and outputs the generated display image signal to a display module. The controller 20 turns on/off the operation of low-delay processing in which the delay time of the display video signal with respect to the video signal is short, as signal processing by the image processing module, and, when the operation of the low-delay processing is turned on, controls the image processing module so that the delay time is 12 msec to 17 msec at minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
