<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material surface treatment method in which an antibacterial property and the like may be easily provided by using persimmon tannin, and a method for manufacturing an antibacterial material. <P>SOLUTION: A material surface treatment method comprises the steps of: adhering a water-soluble persimmon tannin component onto a material surface; and exposing the material surface, on which the water-soluble persimmon tannin component has been adhered, to an aldehyde gas. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
