DESIGN ASSISTANCE SYSTEM

Provided is a design assistance system whereby, even if a user does not have expert knowledge, it is possible to easily perform design of a network system that takes into consideration the connection order of slave devices and ports connected to. The present invention has: a recording means that records slave information data wherein unique information of a slave device is set forth; an acquisition means that, from the slave information data, acquires information of a port that is provided to the slave device; and a generation means that, on the basis of the information of the port, generates a port component that is a GUI component representing the port that is provided to the slave device, on the basis of the slave information data, generates a device component that is a GUI component representing the slave device, and generates a GUI for design assistance containing a topology display screen that displays the topology of a network system being designed and that is configured containing device components and port components.
