PURPOSE: An iris photographing apparatus is provided to acquire a normal iris image using a covering member. CONSTITUTION: A camera captures iris images. Covering members(23,24) is installed the inside camera or a hood attached to the camera. When an iris photographing apparatus(15) is reversed, the covering member covers iris by moving or rotating the image. The covering member is rotated and moved by an external force of gravity. The covering member covers a part or all parts of the iris.
