<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-environmental load and low-cost treatment method for detoxifying dioxin-contaminated soil by spaying and mixing a mixed treating agent of an active hydrogen-containing magnetically treated water to the dioxin-contaminated soil, and leaving the mixture still. <P>SOLUTION: Dioxins in dioxin-contaminated soil can be decomposed and detoxified by a hydrodehalogenation reaction using a hydrodechlorination agent using a magnetically treated water containing active hydrogen or dissolved hydrogen produced by subjecting water to a repeated magnetic field of 100 to 15,000 Gauss in magnetic flux density under a flow rate of the water of ≥0.3 m/sec. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
