<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately calculate the tire performance including generation force distribution in the tire ground surface while suppressing an increase in computation time in a tire analysis using a numeric analysis method including the finite element method (FEM). <P>SOLUTION: A tire model creation method includes: a step for creating the cross-sectional model of a tire; a step for setting the circumferential direction division angle for dividing the tire into multiple elements in the circumferential direction from the rotation center of the tire so that the circumferential direction division angle in the circumferential direction in at least either of the treading side area including the treading point at which the contact of the tire with the road surface starts or the kicking side area including the kicking point at which the contact of the tire with the road surface ends is smaller than the circumferential direction division angle in other areas; and a step for creating a tire model by developing the cross-sectional model in the circumferential direction of the tire and dividing the cross-sectional model into elements according to the circumferential direction division angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
