Disclosed are An electric motor winding temperature detection method and device as well as an electric motor thermal protection method and device. The electric motor winding temperature detection method comprises the following steps: acquiring the temperature of electric motor winding at the previous moment (S10), then calculating temperature rise of a rotor equivalent body after operating for one time step (S20), and calculating the temperature of the electric motor winding at the next moment by superimposing the temperature of the electric motor winding at the previous moment with the temperature rise of the rotor equivalent body after operating for one time step (S30). By means of the electric motor winding temperature detection method, the temperature of the electric motor winding can be monitored in real time, and the performance of the electric motor can be exerted, and the sensitivity can be improved.
