<p>This magnetic material has a magnetic powder and an amorphous metal as starting materials. The magnetic powder is a neodymium-iron-boron magnetic powder, and the amorphous metal contains a rare earth element, iron and boron. In the amorphous metal, the proportion of rare earth element atoms is in a range of 22 - 44 atomic percent, and the proportion of boron atoms is in a range of 6 - 28 atomic percent. The magnetic material is obtained by mixing the magnetic powder and amorphous metal and also heating to not less than 30°C below the crystallization temperature (Tx) for the amorphous metal, or, when the amorphous metal is metallic glass, heating to the glass transition temperature (Tg) thereof or higher.</p> |
