<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sampling needle, in particular a needle suitable for transvaginal oocyte retrieval from a human or animal subject. <P>SOLUTION: This human transvaginal oocyte retrieval needle (632) includes a first tubular region (634) in fluid communication with a second tubular region (636).
