<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector fitting jig capable of fitting a connector with a light operating force without a complicated housing structure, and a low insertion force connector. <P>SOLUTION: A connector fitting jig 11 attaches a male connector housing 59 to a female connector housing 63, and detaches the male connector housing 59 from the female connector housing 63 with a low insertion force. The connector fitting jig 11 comprises a cylindrical jig body 13, in which a body engagement part 23 is engaged with a first engagement part 79 of a male connector housing 59; an inner cylinder member 15, in which an inner cylinder engagement part 27 is held to project from the jig body 13 relatively movably in an axial direction, and the inner cylinder engagement part 27 is engaged with a second engagement part 87 of the female connector housing 63; and a spring shaft 17, which is screwed with a screw part formed on an inner periphery of the inner cylinder member 15, and held rotatably and relatively non-movably in an axial direction to the other end of the jig body 13. The screw shaft 17 is rotated relative to the jig body 13, so as to relatively move the inner cylinder member 15 and the jig body 13, and relatively move the male connector housing 59 and the female connector housing 63 in a fitting direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
