<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device, an energy management system which are difficult to disturb the original functions of a television receiver even though an energy use state is displayed on a screen of the television receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A processing part 21 displays content on a television 3 by providing the television 3 with the content generated by a generating part 26. The generating part generates content on the basis of use information on the energy use state acquired by an information acquiring part 20. The processing part 21 displays the content on the television 3 with the turning on of the television 3 as a trigger.
