PURPOSE: An oxynitride phosphor with high extraction and high crystalline properties and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to be utilized in various light emitting devices including LED. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of An oxynitride phosphor comprises the following steps: manufacturing an oxide precursor by mixing one or more silica, strontium oxide, barium fluoride, calcium fluoride, barium carbonate, calcium carbonate and boridation magnesium; and manufacturing the oxide precursor by reacting the oxide precursor, ammonia gas, and ammonium chloride at 1100-1350 deg. Celsius temperature range. The oxynitride phosphor having a structure represented by chemical formula 1 includes europium as an activator and has the luminescence intensity at 550 nano meters of 9,000-11,000 (a.u.). The chemical formula 1 is as follows: (Sr,Ba,Ca,Mg) Si2O2N2.
