<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-pronged weapon having arm bodies wrapping around the body of an opponent person and a simple opening/closing mechanism of the arm bodies. <P>SOLUTION: The two-pronged weapon comprises the arm bodies 30 and an operating rod 3 connected to the arm bodies 30. The operating rod 3 is inwardly installed in a cylindrical gripper body 1 and can reciprocate. The arm bodies 30 is constituted right and left symmetrically around the operating rod 3, and is constituted of a fixed body 4, connecting bodies 5, and semicircular bodies 7, or others, and opens and closes. A plate 2 is attached to the gripper body 1 a lock/unlock mechanism 10 so as to be able to come into contact with the right semicircular body 7. In the arm bodies 30, the fixed body 4 (the operating rod 3) moves rearward, thereby right semicircular body 7 comes into contact with the plate 2 to cause the arm bodies 30 to be closed, and the fixed body moves forward, thereby to cause the arm bodies to be opened.
