<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a favorable color image by coinciding the light emitting ranges of light emitting spots in a main scanning direction. <P>SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: end part pixel position detection means 110 that makes two light emitting points P in the vicinity of predetermined both ends emit light for each of a plurality of exposure devices (light emitting diode (LED) units 40) to detect the positions of the two light emitting points (exposure points) in a main scanning direction; maximum width exposure device identification means 120 that identifies a first exposure device having the largest distance between the two light emitting points that are made to emit light by each of the exposure devices based on the detected positions of the exposure point; light emitting point identification means 140 that identifies the range of the light emitting points used by a second exposure device so that the second exposure device other than the first exposure device can expose in the same range as the range in the width direction identified by two light emitting points of the first exposure device; and light emission correspondence point identification means 150 for makes a light emitting point correspond to the pixel of image data to be input and makes n sets of light emitting points out of adjoining two light emitting points of the second exposure device correspond with one pixel of image data to be input. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
