<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent mechanical fatigue from accumulating in an insulation nozzle and each contact piece and improve arc-extinguishing performance and insulation performance when a circuit is interrupted, by preventing misalignment between a movable side axis and a fixing side axis during the switching action of a puffer type gas circuit breaker. <P>SOLUTION: An interruption part 2 is disposed in a container 1 which is filled with an insulation gas to form a puffer type circuit breaker. The interruption part 2 is generally composed of a fixed main contact piece 14, a movable main contact piece 12, an arc fixed contact piece 3, an arc movable contact piece 5, and an insulation nozzle 13. A movable side of the interruption part 2 is generally composed of a puffer cylinder 10, a puffer shaft 19, and a puffer piston 18. The puffer piston 18 has two supporting members 15, 16 which support the puffer shaft 19. The interruption part 2 is formed so that a movable side centroid position 17 is located between the two supporting members 15, 16 when the switching action proceeds from an intermediate position to a closed circuit position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
