<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of an electronic clinical thermometer in which batteries are mounted and supply power to a circuit board in accordance with operation of a power switch. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic clinical thermometer, a holder, on which a circuit board for calculating a body temperature of a subject based on detected temperature data and batteries for supplying power to the circuit board are mounted, is attached inside of a housing. The holder has a battery mounting area on which the batteries are mounted in an area positioned on the rear end side of the electronic clinical thermometer when attached inside of the housing. On one side surface of the battery mounting area, a first electrode plate positioned toward the rear end side of the electronic clinical thermometer is folded substantially at a right angle along a flat end surface formed in the battery mounting area, and the tip thereof is in contact with and fixed to the end surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
