<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passenger conveyer capable of surely detecting the landing of passengers and enhanced in design. <P>SOLUTION: The first protector 26 and the first light receiver 32 are arranged in the inside of a pair of right and left decks 14 respectively, the first reflecting unit 28 and the second reflecting unit 30 are arranged in the outside of the reversing part 22 of a balustrade 16 respectively, the first light beam projected from the first projector 26 is received by the first light receiver 32 via the first reflecting unit 28 and the second reflecting unit 30, a decision part 34 decides that the passengers get on or down when the first light beam is blocked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
