<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To absorb sound when a vehicle is travelling and to protect an occupant from impact in the case where an accident occurs to the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the case where an abrupt acceleration occurs in a vehicle, firstly with a case 12, a mass part is shaken much by the inertia based on the law of inertia, and because of this, a fragile part 25 comes into a state in which it is easily broken or is partially broken. After the fragile part 25 has come into the state in which it is broken, the body of an occupant is also shaken by the inertia based on the law of inertia to contact to a sound absorbing body 10. The force applied to the sound absorbing body 10 from the body of an occupant at the time of contacting easily break and crush the fragile part 25 of the case 12. In short, the impact generated at the time when the body of an occupant hits the sound absorbing body 10 is absorbed because the fragile part 25 of the case 12 is broken and crushed at once.
