PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing that can adjust an arrangement of a mirror in an image forming apparatus including an optical scanning device, reduce distortion of a mirror due to heat, and bond a mirror more easily and firmly.

SOLUTION: Provided is a housing for an optical scanning device including a mirror. An adhesion part to which a mirror is adhered is in a concave-convex shape, and has a first surface that contacts an adhesive surface of the mirror and a second surface that intersects with the first surface to form a concave part. The intersection of the first and second surfaces is substantially orthogonal to at least one straight line that connects the most distal parts of the adhesive surfaces of the mirror and the housing.
