This medical device comprises: a storage unit wherein information on the pharmacokinetics in living bodies for each variety of multiple fluorescent drugs is stored beforehand; a processing unit that acquires the diagnosis start time and diagnosis end time corresponding to a first fluorescent drug on the basis of the information stored in the storage unit, the target site where the first fluorescent drug is administered, and the method and start time for administration of the first fluorescent drug to the target site, and sets the administration start time for a second fluorescent drug on the basis of the diagnosis end time for the first fluorescent drug; and a control unit that starts the administration of the second fluorescent drug when the administration start time for the second fluorescent drug is reached, and reduces the irradiation intensity of the excitation light for exciting the first fluorescent drug after the diagnosis end time for the first fluorescent drug. |
