An assist device for a movable body according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a receiver body provided on one element among a support body or a movable body that moves relative to the support body; a substrate provided on the other element among the support body and the movable body; a contact body which is capable of engaging and disengaging the receiver body, is provided so as to be capable of sliding relative to the substrate along a path of movement between a first position and a second position, and is capable of oscillating while moving in the withdrawing direction along the path of movement; and an impelling mechanism for impelling the contact body. |
