Disclosed are an electronic device, a controlling method thereof, and a server communicating with the electronic device. The electronic device, the controlling method thereof, and the server communicating with the electronic device include: a display unit; a communication unit which exchanges data with the server; and a control unit for displaying a second path on the display unit by searching the second path which reflects traffic-related content collected through at least one other terminal when an event is generated during a path guiding process for guiding a first path, wherein the traffic-related content is obtained from the server through the communication unit and can be displayed with respect to the area in which the first and second paths are not overlapped. The present invention can provide traffic-related content and paths collected through another terminal.
