This fluidized bed gasification furnace (1) is provided with a control device (20) that identifies defective fluidization sites of a fluidized bed (9) on the basis of the temperature distribution detected by a plurality of temperature sensors (21, 22, 23, 24, 25), temporarily increases the amount of supplied combustion gas to a wind box (10) positioned below the identified defective fluidization sites, and increases the speed of discharge of noncombustibles and a fluidization medium by means of an extruder (13).
