<p>Provided is a colored glass casing having favorable characteristics as a casing of an electronic apparatus, namely having superior production cost, high strength, and light blocking properties. The colored glass casing clads an electronic apparatus, and is configured from a glass having a light absorption at the wavelengths of 380 nm to 780 nm of at least 0.7, preferably a glass having a light absorption coefficient of at least 1 mm-1. To result in the abovementioned glass, preferably 0.1-7% in mole percent on an oxide basis of at least one component selected from the group consisting of the metal oxides of Co, Mn, Fe, Ni, Cu, Cr, V, and Bi is contained as the coloring component in the glass.</p> |
