The bag (1) has a base body (3) including a continuous tube (4) that is provided with closure units (7, 8) for closing free ends (5, 6) of the continuous tube. Each closure unit has elastic properties such that slight extension is achieved by expansion of the bag in relation to origin length in a longitudinal direction (L), where the closure units are made of resilient material and gastight material, and include air tight properties. The closure units are formed in form of an elastic membrane. An independent claim is also included for an air bag module.
