The component has a hydraulically-controlled, ball-shaped non-return valve (9) arranged in a cup-shaped non-return valve housing (3), and a valve closing unit (6) electromagnetically-controlled by an armature (17) and a magnetic coil. The closing unit is arranged in a tube-shaped housing body (4). A pressurizing medium passage (1) is closed by the closing unit, and extends through the valve housing. Another pressurizing medium passage (2) is arranged in a gutter-shaped recess i.e. annular surface segment, of the front surface of the valve housing and closed by the non-return valve.
