The present invention relates to a plug-element (2) for an electrical plug-in connector (1), comprising at least one conductor receptacle (12), adapted to take up an electrical conductor (100) in a conductor insertion direction (I) in which the conductor (100) may be inserted in and withdrawn from the at least one conductor receptacle (12). Further the invention relates to a mating plug-element (3) and a plug-in connector (1). In order to facilitate strain relief of the conductor (100), the present invention provides that a strain relief organ (22) is connected to the plug-element (2) and in a fixing position (B) at least partially overlaps with the at least one conductor receptacle (12) in a projection along the conductor insertion direction (I).
