FIELD: textiles, paper. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of producing long bast fibers includes the preparation of a layer of stems by its displacement by an amount dependent on their length, to the side of peaks in the direction perpendicular to its motion, thinning of the layer, breaking of stems and swingling raw material. In preparing the layer simultaneously with its displacement the stems are shaken and the stems are padded, the degree of thinning of the layer is set depending on the initial angular disorientation of stems. Breaking stems is carried out in two stages: at the first one a preliminary breaking is carried out mostly the middle part of stems, and at the second - of the end sections of the stems with simultaneous fixing of the layer to prevent its displacement across the width of the field of breaking and with the possibility of changes in intensity of breaking by adjusting the height of the field of breaking. ^ EFFECT: method enables to increase the yield of long fiber while maintaining the level of its sprits and does not require significant capital expenditures. |
