<p>The method involves controlling automation process of field devices (F1,F2). The alarm signals (A1,A2) generated based on PROFINETprotocol of field device are transmitted to control device (CO), when malfunction of field device is detected. The alarm signal is classified as network alarm signal, when the fault is detected in communication network. The network alarm signal is converted in the form of message (M) based on simple network management protocol (SNMP). The converted messages are transmitted to NMS for managing the communication network. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) communication network of industrial automation system; and (2) control device for use in communication network.</p> |
