The seat (5) has a lifting mechanism (8) arranged outside of a sanitary device (2) and provided in form of a vertical extended column (8a). Rollers (9) stand in contact at an inner side of the device. The rollers are provided for supporting of the seat. A seating sheet (6) is connected with a backrest (7) or the vertical movable column via kinematic chains, which change an angle between the sheet and the backrest in course of vertical movement of the seat. The chains are designed as coupling transmissions, and comprise a lower joint (11), upper joint (10) and a transmission element (12). An independent claim is also included for a sanitary device that is provided with a recess.
