<p>A rotary hydraulic actuator includes a housing (12) defining an internal chamber (30), a first boss (32), and port block (44) with a bore (46) communicating with the chamber. The port block (44) further includes a rotor supply port (50) and a rotor drain port (54) communicating with the bore (46), and a stator port (42) communicating with the chamber through a stator hole in the boss. A rotor (14) is mounted for rotation in the internal chamber (30) about an axis of rotation, the rotor (14) including: a body (56) with an arm (62) extending laterally-outward therefrom; a first stub shaft (58) which is received in the bore (46) of the housing (12), the first stub shaft (58) including base slots passing laterally therethrough; a first rotor port (70) which is disposed in the arm (62) in communication with the internal chamber (30), and oriented in a tangential direction relative to the axis of rotation; and internal passages which interconnect the rotor base slots (66) and the first rotor port (70). Passages in the port block communicate with the bore (46) and are interconnect the rotor supply and drain ports at a first angular position of the rotor (14).</p> |
