PURPOSE: A photographing apparatus and an image processing method are provided to properly perform image processing by calculating motion information of an eyeball even if the motion information of eyes is not obtained from a retinal image. CONSTITUTION: A controller respectively controls an SLO(Scanning Laser Ophthalmoscope) photographing unit and an OCT(Optical Coherence Tomography) photographing unit. A display unit(206) indicates system status or an image. A recording unit(207) records a retinal image or imaging conditions. A linear sensor respectively obtains an SLO image and an OCT image. A retinal image obtaining unit obtains a plurality of retinal images at different time. A single layer image obtaining unit obtains a plurality of single layer images at different time. A calculating unit calculates motion information of eyes from the plurality of retinal images.
