The device (10) has a bearing housing (11) formed from a windable pipe with diameter (d-11), and a shaft (12) formed from another windable pipe with another diameter (d-12). The latter diameter is smaller than the former diameter such that the shaft is inserted into the housing. A bearing arrangement (13) e.g. slide bearing or roller bearing, is formed between the shaft and the housing for supporting the shaft and the housing in a rotatable manner relative to each other. The windable pipes are designed as fiber composite pipes made from glass-fiber and/or carbon-fiber reinforced plastic. An independent claim is also included for a method for providing a storage device for a wind power plant.
