PURPOSE: An eddy current inspection probe and a method for inspecting transition region cross section change of a heat pipe using the same are provided to easily distinguish cross section change by forming an actual cross section of the heat pipe into graphics. CONSTITUTION: A probe body(11) comprises two or more coil mounting grooves(12) in a columnar direction. A front center apparatus(13) is formed on the shear of the probe body. A back center apparatus(14) is formed on the backend of the probe body. A coil is respectively mounted on the coil mounting groove. A steel wire(28) for fixation passes through the inner side of the probe body, the front center apparatus, and the back center apparatus and is fixed.
