PURPOSE: A low power wireless communication apparatus is provided to improve user convenience by enabling a user to continuously use batteries. CONSTITUTION: When a switch(140) is turned on, the switch supplies power to a sensor(130), a wireless communication module(160), and a controller(150). When the switch is turned off, the switch does not supply power to the sensor, the wireless communication module, and the controller. When a battery supplies power to the controller, the controller operates the sensor. When physical quantity is inputted from the sensor, the controller transmits the inputted physical quantity to a portable terminal(500) by controlling the wireless communication module.
