<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner replenishment device which rapidly eliminates toner blocking while protecting a plate part, and also to provide an image forming apparatus with the toner replenishment device. <P>SOLUTION: A stirring device (60) includes: a shaft part (62) rotatably supported by a container body (22), projecting from the outside end face (29) of the container body toward the outside of the container body before attaching the replenishment device (20) to an image forming apparatus body (2), while moving from the outside end face toward the container body after attaching the replenishment device (20) to the apparatus body (2); a supporting part (74) having rigid wall surfaces (75, 76, 77 and 78) fixed at the shaft part so as to extend in a nearly perpendicular direction to the shaft line of the shaft part, and moving in nearly the same direction as the moving direction of the shaft part in a toner storing part (33) with the movement of the shaft part; and a flexible plate part (80) fixed at the supporting part and stirring the toner with the rotation of the shaft part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
