Class 142(1) To, enable each section of yarn wound on a swift A<SP>1</SP> to have parallel ends at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the swift, each longitudinal bar A of the swift is provided with separator plates B between each section. The plates B are mounted on rods a and secured thereon by screws. Portions b<SP>1</SP> of the plates engage grooves a<SP>1</SP> in the top of the longitudinal bars. Wire clips C, engaging slots b<SP>2</SP> in the plates bounding the section being wound, guide the threads between the plates B.</p> |
