METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACCESSING DATABASE, DATABASE APPLICATION SYSTEM

A method for accessing a database is disclosed, which includes: receiving a modification operation request for shared data in the database which is mapped into a process address space (S101); decomposing the modification operation request to a preset number of atomic operation sequences (S102); invoking atomic operation interfaces according to an execution order of the various atomic operation sequences (S103); and accessing the shared data in the database, which is mapped into the process address space, through atomic operations which are provided by the atomic operation interfaces (S104). An apparatus for accessing a database and a database application system are also disclosed. Through the above technical solution, the modification operation to the database is made by the atomic operations accessing the shared data in the database. The atomic operations in progress wouldn't be interrupted by other processes, thereby enabling to ensure data consistency and improve the protection level of shared data in a multi-process embedded concurrent access database.
