Data-transfer system and related management method

The method involves carrying out a listening phase by a loop of a double-loop antenna (23) of peripheral equipment (15) to detect a first radiofrequency signal (27) emitted by a central base (21). A second radiofrequency signal, which is synchronous and in phase with the first signal, is transmitted by the equipment to the base, if the first signal is detected. A third radiofrequency signal is emitted by the equipment at a preset frequency, if the first signal is not detected. The third signal is recovered and emitted by the base to the equipment, when the base receives the third signal. The peripheral equipment of a data transfer system (13) serve as radiofrequency identification (RFID) tags. An independent claim is also included for a data transfer system.
